How to Fold Down A Super Crew Backseat

Ok, I have no need to do this, but since I cannot, it's bothering me. I've tried the box wrench, folding the bottom seat up 3/4, everything and I cannot get the thing to release. I've been standing and pulling on it with all I have and it won't budge.
Any other tips?

The best way I found is with a box end of a wrench. There's the small nub sticking out. I used the camera on my phone to find it.

I just tried this. Folded the bottom seat up which brings the back of the seat away from the rear of the cab. I then simply put my hand down the back and unlatched it. Easy. This was on a 2017 Screw.

Great product!
After watching the YouTube installation video it took about 15 minutes to get the tools out, install both, put the tools away and get a celebratory beer.
The part is well made, fits, works like a charm and the box included a jaw breaker candy!

I just ordered 2 today. Can't wait to get them installed. I keep stuff back there and I'm tired of having to "Fiddle" around back there to get the seat folded down. I probably could have made something but I like the "gadgets" that are available these days.

Thank You Builtrite for an awesome product. I like the fact that the strap is stiff enough to not “flop over” and is just long enough to reach. Two thumbs up!

To Fold Down a Super Crew Backseat
1. Fold up the lower portion of the seat. (This moves the seatback forward a little, to get your hand between the seat back and the truck wall)
2. With your left hand palm facing toward the back of the truck and thumb down, slide your hand between the backseat and the real wall.
3. Use your thumb to lift up on the lock lever. (See photo)
4. You can also use the round end of a box wrench, instead of your thumb, to lift the lever.
