My circuit board did not have any obvious terminals that needed to be soldered; I found a guy on eBay that does a lifetime warrantied repair for $27.00. I post my opinion once I get mine back.

Default compass and temperature readout LED

Hi ibd2328, Thanks for the great directions on how to fix the temp readout. Now it works again. But I have a question. The terminal that you soldered is the same one I had to do. When it's on,both of the resistors are too hot too touch, and the board also gets warm. Is this normal? Thanks for any help you could give.

You are very welcome, resistors tend to hold/dissipate some heat due to energy exchange. It should be super hot, but a warm feeling should be fine.
