Default Undercover Swingcase - Driver Side Storge Box Install Guide

The Undercover Swing Case doesn't look like much at first glance, but the thing is actually extremely handy to have around and looks pretty neat and clean in the bed. Given that we here at Stage 3 aren't huge fans of bulky toolboxes, we opted to give the Swing Cases a shot on our 2012 F150 EcoBoost FX4 Project Truck, and we're very glad we did. The Swing Case had a pretty large internal capacity, didn't take up a ton of room in the bed, and was extremely easy to install. We're totally happy with the fit, finish, and look of our Swing Case, especially since it fits under our truck's tonneau cover. You really just can't beat that.
To get our Swing Case install complete while we took video and pictures, we enlisted some help from our friends down at Extreme Performance out in Goodyear, Arizona. We grabbed our Swing Case (and a bunch of other goodies), our cameras, and our truck and headed on down there where Kris was ready and waiting to help us out.
Step one was to install the mounting bracket for the Swing Case. Because our truck had a spray-in bed liner, the bracket could just be bolted on over top of it. The same goes for trucks with a bare bed. F150s with either a plastic bed liner or a BedRug will require some cutting. Anyway, Kris lined up the bracket and then bolted it down with the included self-drilling screws.
We did run into a clear issue when the arm for the Swing Case's latch came into contact with our cleat. Kris removed the cleat and the arm sat flush with the bed.

With everything out of the way, Kris bolted down the latch arm.
Once the bracket was completely bolted down, Kris dropped the actual case onto the bracket's hinge, and our Swing Case Install was complete.
