Use the black krylon plastic paint from wally wal, I did my bed rails and windshield cowl a year ago and it still looks good. I am stationed in Texas and if you have ever been here you know how hard the weather can be on your vehicle. I've tried all the other products like mothers etc.... Don't last long and IMO a waste. I plan to do the rest on my trim such as the handles and rear bumper since I know the paint actually works and gets rid of the faded black grayish look.

Wipe New by Rustoleum is an excellent product. I used it on my mirrors and door handles. It looks great and lasts about a year. Very easy to apply. I did use krylon for my wiper cowl.

A product called Black Wow is the best Ive used. Lasts many many months if not a year or two. Silly name but a seriously good product. A small amount goes a long ways. A 4 ounce bottle will last you for years.
