I figured it out when it dawned on me that the wire wouldn't likely go straight to the reverse bulb from there so I pulled off the rear tail light.
The wire I need was blue with a white line.
Joining those tiny wires wasn't easy.

You might want to post this in the 09 - present section. This is a rather obscure thread that doesn't get much traffic.

Good Luck

Do you have Nav system? Or installing a monitor?
I went from scratch and hooked into the reverse wire wire.

To install the factory backup system i assume you would have to run a new wiring harness through the headliner.

I have the 4300dvd an was thinking of installing the same camera as the OP, but pioneer recommends a $200 one.... I say why can't the accessories be cheap? we already spent $3,4,500 an up on a DD head unit, at-least make the accessories cheaper than $200.

What could make a backup camera worth $200?

I know the answer to that, but do you really need a $200 backup camera?

The only thing I can think of is that you need better resolution than required on the 3.5" GPS monitors because of the larger DVD screen.
But there are some really good cameras much cheaper. My Boyo has an awesome picture and great lighting.
