How to smoke tail lights
I was bored this morning so i decided to take out the new black bezel tail lights that i bought and smoke my origianal tail lights on my 02. So. . . .
First remove your old tail light

and sand them with a high grit wet sand paper, i used 2000

then clean them with alcohol
i decided to cut out star stickers and place them where the reverse light is and where the brake light is

then i laid down 3 coats of black high gloss spray paint and dried them
next i removed the stickers and lightly wet sanded the entire tail light to make the surface smooth.

then i applied ten coats of clear and then very lightly wet sanded the tail light again

where can i get this stuff at, and how hard is it to use, i rather do it that way, so you can atleast see the taillights, cause the cops where i live are ***holes, sorry if you are a cop, but i had a 93 bronco with the covers on it and they pulled me over and told me to take it off, this was during the day time lol, and they just gave me a warning thank god, now i have a 1978 ford f150 and they don't make nothing cool for the tails it seems like, so i will give this a try and i will post before and after pics when i finish
