Default Wrench light

I was towing a 14' travel trailer and my truck lost a bunch of power and a big yellow wrench light came on and in a few more miles the truck started to shake
then the engine check light came on
and then it stopped shaking and CEL went out Still had a wrench

I checked for codes and there is none What is going on

The CEL came on when the truck started shaking so i put it in 5th gear and it went out
I wanted to know what code it was but no codes stored . You would think if there was a CEL there will be a code?
I had a MPT tune in it when it started doing this Before i drove home i returned it back to stock and in about 25 miles at 60mph the Wrench light came on again .
Is this a transmission problem ? I can't even check the trans oil there is no dipstick.
Is seems this truck does not like towing a 3200 lb trailer

Wrench light is torque management I believe. I have hit my gas pedal too hard backing up and came on. Just shut truck off in park and turn back on and all is usually good. You could have a underlying problem, unless you had a sudden shift in power. It suppose to put the truck into limp mode where it just idle moves to protect the drive train components.

What went out when you put it in 5th gear, the light? Did the shaking stop?

Sounds like a trans problem. Shaking went away and no code stored.

The wrench light signifies that the truck has entered "limp" mode. Definitely sounds like a transmission problem though.

Since you have an ecoboost, when was the last time you changed spark plugs and what gap did you use? Also, do you have the intercooler weep hole?
