Will all of Livernois tuning levels pass smog tests?
We have to get our vehicles smog tested here in Washington state every couple of years. They plug in to the diagnostic port under the dash on the driver's side and the vehicle tells them whether its been running clean or not.
Will all levels of octane tuning (performance and towing) from Livernois still show clean to this state testing?

Well...........should have used search first........sorry!:
Claims are made however that the manufacturer is not responsible if you fail the smog tests....kind of scary to make this investment and have this happen, or even the risk of it happening to you.

better looking than geno
IF they are not checking the tailpipe, and only checking the OBD-II, then they are not smogging, they are only checking for codes.
Livernois has to state that it is off-road only, or pay to have it tested to get it approved. It's not worth it to them when they can just say it's off-road and leave it be.
Flash the truck to stock before you have it tested. Maybe drive a day or two to be sure. I'd be willing to bet you'd pass either way.

And will flashing it back to stock work to fool the plug in 'guvmint tests? Doesn't fool the dealers scan tools, that I have heard....and yes, I know if I am worried about my warranty, don't buy a tune.....more worried about not being able to license my vehicle......

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that for the most part tuned engines should perform in these tests as well, if not better than stock tunes because they program the drivetrain to maximize power per fuel used. You aren't changing any other components on the vehicle for smog control or anything else. Seems cats and O2 sensors would be failing left and right on tuned vehicles if there was a concern.
I've had multiple autos running on tunes and have never had any other part fail on my emissions.

There is no history that shows it has been operating other than stock when they plug in? How does the dealer tell its been tuned but the 'guvmnt' can't.

We have highly modified cars here that still pass in states that require testing. We built a 900 RWHP Shelby for a customer and it passes with no issues.

Go Ducks!!
I would say there wouldn't be any issues if this can be done and pass. Can't wait for Christmas!!
