Ust got my first F150. What is that rectangular box in the middle front of the engine compartment? It's about 10 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Please don't just name it, but tell an old guy (for whom a Volvo 120 is the height of auto technology) what it does.

 

I think you're referring to the one over the radiator. That's the fuse box.
