I think the EB is a great engine. Starting off the line takes a toll on mileage and the high amount of low end torque is a real benefit of the twin turbo

No option for the F150 Harley. The 6.2 is the only way to go. I've had a Supercharged 4.6 DOHC in a 2003 Mustang Cobra Vert, and a Supercharged 5.4 SOHC in a 2003 Lightning, both making 400+ HP using only 93 octane premium fuel, always at a premium price. It's a nice change of pace to have the same power with the 6.2 using only regular unleaded. I also like looking at the price of regular on the gas station sign, instead of the more expensive cost of premium, especially when pouring 36 gallons.
Here are a couple pics of my old friends.

I looked at 2 trucks side by side. A white XLT with a 3.5l TT (wife picked that one to look at) and a red Fx2 with the 5.0l, both were the same price. The Fx2 had more options and was the correct color so I went with it. I looked for a month and the only other red Fx2 around was a SCAB Eco and they wanted 3k more. If I could have found a 3.5l Fx2 SCREW for the same money I'm really not sure which one I would have bought. The towing wasn't a factor as both can do what I need and the difference in MPG is really nothing. I think in years to come folks will look at the 5.0l as a bullet proof motor and the 3.5l will be like the old GN's. A small motor with tons of HP/TQ capabilities. A few folks will push them past their limit though and you will start hearing BS about reliability but for the average person looking for speed the 3.5l will serve them well for a long time.

Disclaimer: I am not insinuating that a 3.5 or a 5.0 is better/worse than the other nor do I imply that the 3.5 will not be described by people at some point in time as bullet proof nor the 5.0 as not being capable of tons of HP/TQ. If my post makes you feel compelled to begin an Eco vs. 5.0l rant then please add me to your ignore list as I want no part of it.
