Data logged it and I'm going to do one more, most knock I've seen is 1.75 and it is STRONG down low and good pull everywhere I touch the throttle. I'll run some tq pro times as comparison to the 93, too.

I am reallllly happy with this tune, push in the tow/haul button and it changes into an even more responsive gear holding beast.

I really want to get about 500 miles on it before I am sold...but man that's going to be hard to do....it's simply awesome.

I'm running 5* tunes and the only one I was ok with was the 91 Performance tune. If I order tunes from Unleashed how many tunes do you get for $199?

And what options does he have? Would probably do at least a 91 performance, 89 performance/tow and 87 economy if available.

He has any combination you want. If you want 86 octane he can do it. Want 100octane he can do that, too. Alot of people do a 87eco, 87tow/per, and 91 or 93 performance.

In my case I have a 87 t/p, 91 t/p and 93 performance. You data log the base tunes he modifies them for YOUR truck the way you want em' Shifts, boost, rpms...all are completely customizable.

I have 87 Eco which is very smooth had it in for 2 tanks got over 700 Kms out of both tanks and wasn't empty when filling 83 and 85L on the tanks. That was local driving no trips longer than 25 or 30 Kms highway and rural. Have the 91 performance one in now put a tank full through it this morning trip to the airport 675 Kms on 79.5L's. just data logged it and put my revised tune in this evening it feels strong and smooth also. Best of the bunch I've tried by far. Most only got 1 tank of fuel and were switched out. I was back to stock when unleashed mentioned on here and was hesitant to buy more but I'm glad I did. I also have the 91 Eco tune which I haven't tried yet.

I haven't logged this thing but so far wow.... Another benefit 22 mpg on a short highway trip----- normally only 19 on the same stretch of road.
So how does the 91 p/t tune compare to the 93 perf tune as far as WOT? I.ve been wanting to ask you this cause I knew you were working on this 91 p/t tune.

Hmmm, they are pretty different. The WOT on the performance tune is addicting, the pull for me just never ends...a shift and then more pull again. DD'ing it was great, too. If I could tow heavy loads with it, I wouldn't have cared to get a 91p/t. The partial throttle was good and slightly more powerful than stock but needed more tip-in to go all out....The performance tune would spin all fours at launch and then chirp them w/o E-locker and the traction control off in second.

The 91 p/t: Partial throttle is awesome, anything under about 25% drives like stock, anything above is like reading your mind. Easily controllable performance wise. Always hits the right gear, firm but smooth shifts. WOT feels like it has more down low, but it's harder to catch second. It lacks the upper rpm power of the 93p but that's what I wanted. My turbos hit around 9lbs of boost by 2100rpm on about 50% throttle and stick closer to 16 max (peak of 18.3) at WOT. The 93P however holds 18lbs at anything above 3200rpm'ish on WOT. Also on the 91 t/p tune the turbos spool faster and more linear, IMHO. The 93P spools and "unleashes" (pun intended) an exponential power.

No times on the 91 p/t yet, I might run and get a few though. I'm at 16.4mpg mixed driving in the same places I normally drive and hit 14.7. Same fuel being used. Now, it can eat into city mileage quicker for me than the 93p, buuut can sip it easier on the highway, too.

Sounds like you got some good stuff going on with your truck. Didn't get a chance to do any swapping today or get a laptop. My wife put her sarge boots on this weekend so ended up painting down in the basement, and working on the back yard some more. Hoping to have our patio squared away this week so I can get sod, then I'll e off the hook to do what I want, lol.

Newbie here...I just recently picked up a Livewire TS from Unleashed and am extremely impressed with Torrie's response to my emails. I told him that the tuner was going to be a father's day gift (well, from me to me ) and so, nothing needed until after next weekend. I did 'check it out' to make sure it powered up and sent Torrie the vehicle strategy yesterday evening. Well, a couple of minutes later, emails back from Torrie (yep, Sunday evening!) with 3 tunes to try based on my priority request (87mpg, 87tow, 87perf)! Can't beat that service! Now itching to give them a go...in 6 days and counting.

Question for you knowledgeable tuners: if I were to tow with an 87 tow tune (6500lb tt), but happened to use 89 or 91, does that just provide a bit more margin against knock? The plan is to stick with 87, but I'm curious about this. Thanks, Alan
