This thing is going to be sick and fast as hell

To bad its not 4wd I cant imagine how a boosted 5.0 launch would feel knowing how my eco feel boost launching.

This thing would cut 1.5 60's no problem

I didn't realize you worked for Hennessey when I first posted.

Is this the $55,000 twin turbo package? You guys emailed me a quote on that, but I didn't realize how expensive it was compared to the supercharger packages.

I guess I need to start thinking supercharger and not twin turbos...

Yeah, it's expensive, but it includes a fully built engine, transmission, transfer case, and complete twin ball bearing turbo kit. It also comes with a warranty, and your vehicle is listed in NADA.

It is 4wd.. this is a Raptor build.

My personal truck is a 5.0 FX2, which I am about to turbocharge as well. It'll be a challenge to put the power to the ground, but I'm up to it.

The fabrication is finished as of today.. Just some final welding to do, and it's ready to rock. We'll be removing the powertrain later in the week for a full rebuild. The truck is also going off to paint most likely. Can't wait to get it all up and running!

Everything tucks into the factory skid plates (not shown in these pics). Nice, clean build and will make a lot of power!

Your fabrication skills and attention to detail are awesome. Hennessey is fortunate to have you.

Im sure mud and water coming in contact with the kit or intake underneath the truck has been thought of? Whats the take on that?

We are building skid plates to cover the entire underside of the chassis up to the cat-back. The filter(s) lowest point is about 10" up on the side of the door, and they will have splash guards in place as well. Everything is sealed up, though.. so, water shouldn't be much of an issue. Obviously, cleaning is going to be important part of the maint. scheme.
