I was told that the sct cannot turn it off but only adjust settings.

I have livewire and was told by 5star that the tpms cannot be turned off.

Please let me know how to do this if possible. I looked through all the settings and don't see it.

Hate looking at the damn light every time I get in the truck

nuts. thats what i figured. figured it wouldnt be that easy. I did put them in a pressurized pvc tube. does work..for 20 minutes or so. I then use the reset tool, press the button near the tube. the light goes out for another 20 minutes or so.

got to look at the wiring diagram sometime..there has got to be a wire to ground/add 12v to to trick the computer to thinking the sensors are working.

Problem with putting them into a tube is the sensors work on a pressure system as well as rotation. If they aren't rotating as the tire does the ecu senses it and throws a code turning the light on and annoying the hell out of you.

I know, thats what I said. The only way to wake them, since they are not rotating, is using the reset tool. That will wake them, put the light out for 20 minutes or so.

super annoying.

Kinda surprised no one has figured out a workaround like they have on toyotas. There has got to be a weak spot somewhere in the system

Saw this thread..got a bit excited that there may have been a solution. Oh well.

got to find some time and take the cluster out and tape over the light. Kinda redneck, but so far the only reasonable solution!

Is there a function on the LMS tuner or something they have to write in the tune? I haven't seen that option on the tuner?
