As stated before, the 6R80 transmission in the F150 is not the same as the one in the Superduties. The 6R140 was designed by Ford and the 6R80 is based off the 6HP series by ZF Friedrichshafen AG. The 6R80 is based off of the ZF 6HP32 transmission which uses the same gear ratios, but is a bigger variation of the 6HP26 (6R60). The 6HP26 (6R60) has a maximum input torque of 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) and the 6HP32 (6R80) has a maximum input torque of 750 Nm (553 lb-ft).
