So iv been running the Livernois 91 performance tune for about 3 weeks now and just recently noticed when I go full throttle and then let off it has a bark like sound now. It used to not do that, doesn't sound like a blow off or anything, I was just wondering if this is normal?

Might be barking the turbos. Best to ease off the throttle instead of backing off instantly.

Sounds like compressor surge. Dont be so harsh on the pedal

Can that damage anything? Il try that out tomorrow and see what it does

Yes, surge is very hard on them. Its basically instantly reversing their spin

I see it VERY hard to believe it would be turbo surge or "bark". That's the whole reason behind the BOVs, and yours being a 12 model you have two. I would be willing to bet it's the BOVs. I would check to make sure all the connections are good and tight, and haven't worked loose.

Have you had your oil changed lately?

I get a similar noise from the situation you described, I'm pretty sure its coming from the BOV's I only really noticed it when she got tuned and i vented the BOV to atmosphere.
