I have been living with 12-10-19B and intercoolerBL3Z*6K775*B at 2.5 months now. That’s just about 2,000 miles on the new intercooler and new left CAT (which has already clogged up again).

The truck has considerably less power. The MPG’s in the city were 18 before the fixand 14 after the fix. The best I get onthe hiway is 18 now; use to be about 22-24MPGs.

Without reservation I can say this is my last Ford. If Ford were to just “give” me a new 5.0 F150I would not take, because the company is donkey poop.

Now when any one tells me about their great Ford EcoBoost(car or truck), I just laugh.

This is what I'm worried about. A 2014 gmc Sierra with the direct injected 6.2 is more than likely in my very near future.

So I just looked at my CAC (2011 with a june build date) and noticed its very close to what they are using to fix the issue. Yesterday I drove 6 1/2hrs 450 miles in dense Fog from Louisiana to Florida. 45min before I got home I had to pass a slower car and my truck Crapped out BAD, I couldn't even touch the gas peddle without it shuddering violently and shaking the whole truckin. The CEL started flashing and stayed flashing for about 90seconds. Once it went off my truck ran fine. I left Louisiana at midnight in some of the worst Fog ever and got home a 6:30 am My truck goes in tomorrow morning for the NEW TSB. Here is my current CAC and looks like deflector plate.

Note: My truck was in a front end accident last April and my CAC and radiator were replaced. Does anybody else have the CAC #?????

I haven't seen anyone with the "-A" revision of that part. "-B" is the part in the TSB.
6K775 seems to be specific to the TSBs (or replacements due to your wreck apparently) and not a factory part, all factory parts are a variation of 9L440.

Thanks for the data point. I'll update the list in my other thread.

Cool. I will post updates after my TSB service. I was surprised that my dealership had the parts in stock. Seems like alot of people have to wait due to backorder.

Exact same thing, very disappointed. Lost 4 MPG. Down shift all the time, REV. up but not pulling.
As much as I loved this engine now I hate it. No more fun to ride.

Laugh all you want. Since the update my mileage hasn't changed, my power hasn't changed, and the problem seems to have been fixed. But please, don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Ya, I don't know what's going on with some if these trucks but mine has been great since i got it back. Actually, my power and mileage seem to have come up a bit. But, I've only got about 500 km since the TSB so we'll see I guess.

Same here. I liked the performance before the update now I Love it. My MPG's are up to 22.2 at 68mph if I put it on crusie control and it just feels more responsive. Best truck&engine combo ever. Not sure why it seems so hit and miss with some people, guess were just lucky.
