I told them that the same thing happened again...they ordered a new CAC and installed it on Dec.27...relashed the PCM to 12-10-19....took about 1hr...I picked the truck up and first impressions were truck was much more responsive....fuel mileage improved on the highway...have not seen the sooty buildup on my chrome tailtip since the reflash...truck has plenty of power and has not exhibited the fall on your face symptoms since....so far so good
Really glad to see that you have had positive results. I am currently waiting on my new CAC to come in so the dealer can install it. I also went ahead a bought a new set of plugs and gapped them at 32. I will replace them as soon as the new intercooler is in place. Hoping I see the same luck you have.

Default Cac tsb 12-11-15

When I took my 2013 in (Built 8/12) they indicated they would order the TSB kit for it. When I asked what kit (as I had the documentation for this one) they indicated they were ordering the latest CAC TSB 12-11-15. They replaced the CAC with the most recent version and reflashed the ECU. When I got it back it ran like a normal V6 (NA), major power loss! I took it back as I was only making .5Lbs boost under WOT. Seems the mechanics left a clamp loose on the CAC. Now it is great, makes major boost and runs like it did before or better!

Just got my truck back last night after they had it for 14 days...how convenient as 15 consecutive days qualifies for lemon law in Florida. It is not 100% right but close, seems throttle response is a little off, but much better then when I first picked it up after the TSB was done. The mechanic claims the air filter was clogged and that was the reason throttle response was a good 1-2 second lag and only half power...even my SA was not buying that on a truck with 15k miles It has finally got cold in Fl with it being in the 50's so will not know if it's fixed till April.

I took my truck in for the slight shudder/hesitation at 55 mph yesterday. They are replacing everything listed on the tsb, but everything is on back order. And I was happy they didn't say anything about my truck being previously tuned. I have a 2011 with a July build date I believe.
I will also regap my plugs when I get the truck back because the truck would miss bad up top with my livernois 93v2 tune in the 10-20 degree weather.

Well, add me to the list of people waiting for a new CAC. I will say my truck was better with the last update, but still not what I would call perfect. Took it in yesterday for the little rubber gromets on the front door check arms dry rotting and breaking. They have to order those in as well. Told them I was still getting shudders and pretty much without question looked my truck over and said they wanted to apply 12-10-19 and ordered the new CAC. So I wait...

The little rubber grommets are messed up on mine to lol.

I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of the truck. It's only 17 months old with 14000 miles and it has developed 2-3 rattles already. Not what I expect out of a truck that stickers for 50k

Called my Ford dealer about getting the new TSB and CAC installed when I get home next week. I was prepared to wait awhile but as it turns out they have it in stock. They said they have set it aside for me for when I come in this coming Thursday. I emailed my dealership back to confirm that it was in-fact the NEW REDESIGNED CAC and not just the plastic shroud that covers the top 1/3 of the CAC. My dealership said yes... Does anybody have PIC'S of the New CAC?? What are the differences with the new CAC??? Just want to make sure I'm not replacing crap with crap. Thanks.

Boosted, check out this thread. It has pics and all the part numbers from the different revisions. There's also a link to a poll on page 8 or 9 to see if this is really fixing the problem or not.
