heard that! Off topic, I had my mustang dynoed at JPC racing recently, with the boss manifold..looking at my graph what would you shift at? It seems to make its best power at 6500 rpm and I recover at around 5400 rpms at 2nd gear.. contrary to what everbody says about a boss manifold being have to be overrevved. It was a dyno dynamics...appreciate any tips

I have freinds that run low low et's with the tune and Boss and they shift from 7300-7800 you always want to shift higher then you make power by a few hundred so when it drops back during shifts it's higher up the power band.I tried my 150 from 6500-7500 and it Always ran the fastest at 7500. The coyote likes big RPM...........
One more point even though you stop gaining hp at around 6800 notice that it doesn't fall off it just hangs around level.shifting the Boss intKe early Kills your ET

I saw this thread and thought the OP had gotten an EB or a 6.2. Instead I was "treated" to photos of a Dodge.

Have fun with your new rig.

Good luck, if your Dodge was anything like the one I had before getting my Ford, you are going to need it! Biggest POS truck ever! Will never own another one.

I have to be honest I like it so far, mostly the looks.
Also I took my truck to Atco last night for a base run and was shocked with the results.
On my first pass I hit the rev. Limiter in 3rd about 100' from the traps and ran a 14.06@94
On my second pass I nailed it 13.96@96 with a bone stock truck,it shocked the **** out of me.I never thought for a minute this dodge would be as fast as my Ford part for part.

Why are u suprised? Dodge has a big displacement advantage, and considerable hp advantage. Not sure i buy fords numbers on the 5.0 tho. Its still crazy for stock trucks to crack into the 13s.

That sir is a quick truck- 8.90's bone stock. At my local track, I have witnessed stock SRT8 Challengers and RT Challengers run the same number. How your truck is doing it being heavier is beyond me. I admit, I admired what you did with your F150 and was extremely disappointed when you went to a Dodge. But, its your money. Looking forward to seeing what you get out of it.
