the issue is getting the bt adaptor paired with your phone. start off with killing and exiting torque. should not be running at all. cycle on/off/on BT, or restart the phone. remove the bt device from the odbii port wait 30 secs or more and press any buttons on it. put it back in. toggle the sync/connection mode on the BT device, usually press a button for 2-3 secs. then in your device, scan for devices wait for it to fins it, then after it does wait a few seconds or so.
if in the instructions with the bt deivce it says enter a specific pin, put that pin in quickly. (some devices are cable of automatically knowing the pre-determined pins)
if the deice has the auto number, a message should pop up showing the pin then hit ok,etc.
what android version are you running?

^^^Do above, you should not open the app at all until you are connected to the dongle. Takes about 30 secs...then open up torque and go to settings pretty straight forward from there. Mine works flawless...I would like to know how you guys are monitoring EGR's...which sensor are u guys using?
I think it requires android 2.0 or newer...also your adapter requires a certain version, too. check to make sure all of that is up to date.

I'm y=using torque widgets and for the most part i'm typically only monitoring boost, have some speed diffs as well. I just recently started paying attention to the fuel trims, short trem& long term.

Try that and see if that works

There's also a download for the widget to appear on the main start page...highly recommended. I'm currently monitoring Boost, A/F, volts, Intake temps, and temp at Cat bank 1 I think is right.
I'm going to use the app as a baseline for tq and hp numbers to see if an aftermarket exhaust makes a difference (I know it's not exact...but I am extremely impressed by the app).
