Default Took Truck in For Timing Chain Rattle, GETTING NEW ENGINE

Took my truck in for the timing chain replacement 1 week ago. Dealer says that they got an e-mail from FORD to inspect the cam journals on this engine for scoring. Now FORD says to replace the engine. I looked at the journals and caps yesterday and I couldn't see any scoring, the engine was running great except for the occasional startup noise.
Since I have had all the oil changes done there, they said they didn't have any questions about maintenance. Engine has 92,000+ miles on it.
Looks like a week before the new engine gets here, meanwhile I am driving their 2017 Focus, said they will get me an f150 loaner when they get one in. Can't complain about the service, but I won't have my truck for at least another week.
Kinda sucks, but I guess a new engine might be worth it.

What year is your truck?
Any tuning done?
Any modifications at all? Wheels, tires, suspension?

Did you happen to get a TSB number or any other pertinent info?

Default New Engine is Here!!

Truck in shop, new engine is here.
Pains me to see it in pieces.
Mechanic said that rear journal on right side cam of original engine showed slight scoring, probably would not have been a problem. Looks like Ford is stepping it up here.

We will see TSB #'s when I get the final paperwork. Original TSB was the one for the timing chain rattle at start-up. FOMOCO said to replace the engine. I suspect they want the engine for exam since all service was done by FORD, don't know for sure, just suspect.
They are also going to do the vacuum pump TSB while the truck is down.

Figured if you had time to take pics of the motor, you would have time to ask for tsb #s

You were not still running the 89 Tow Tune from 5 Star?

How often were you changing the oil?

Been a while since I had any tunes on it. Didn't have it tuned very often. Gets better mileage stock and still runs great without tuning. Got rid of my 20' enclosed trailer.
Oil was usually changed at around 25% oil life remaining. Approx 7000 miles. Truck has 93000 + miles on it now.
