Mine was covered under extended warranty. 85,000 on the truck when I got it done.

Ford offers different levels of extended warranty (Basic / Extra / Premium) . I know that this repair is covered by the Premium Care plan. I am wanting to to see if anyone has been successful in having this repair fully covered under their Ford Extra Care plan.

As I already said, it should be based on the warranty coverages.

But the best thing to do is contact the dealership as it really comes down to them. Some will write it up in a way that will get it all covered. Others might say no, this part/portion isn't covered. Just because someone says it was covered for them, doesn't mean it will happen at your dealership. So get on the phone!
