Default Timing Belt/ Chain Maintenance Requirements

I've got a 2011 Super Cab with a 5.0. It has 184,000 miles on it. Does it have a timing belt, or a chain? Should I replace it? What other maintenance issues should I be concerned with? Any input is appreciated.

You have a timing chain. You can check the owners manual to see if they recommended maintenance but I don't think there are widespread timing component issues with the 5.0. Usually if the chain stretched you'll get a check engine light or if a tension or guide is bad you'll hear the chain smacking around on start up.

As for other maintenance, check the manual to see what intervals are recommended. If there is any type of fluid you haven't changed by now I would recommend changing it.
