For those with a drastic drop in power in their Eco post TSB

I do lose my H/u settings, but mine is aftermarket.
I know it sucks, but as I understand it, the effort is worthwhile given the length of time it will likely take the truck to relearn without pulling the juice.

Sounded like air getting let out of a tire with the leak. Now I have that high pitched smooth whistle you are supposed to hear.
Seriously...this leak caused early shifts, rough shifts, hesitation in accelerating from a stop, indecisive transmission, poor fuel economy, lacking power, boost fluctuations...etc etc etc. Finding this leak cured all of that. This truck is once again awesome!

Thanks...I noticed substantially less power right after the new IC was installed at the dealer...and ran stock tune for 6 months after the install. I have only had custom tunes since Oct 2013 and the revised IC was installed March 2013...so guessing it was just something overlooked by the dealer during install. I did check their work but everything was clean and I probably didn't even notice the pipe was pushed up that little amount. Wish I would have found it 14 months ago and I would have saved myself a lot of frustration...but I'm not the most knowledgeable when it come to working on vehicles. Learning more and more though.

That's interesting, but really sucks. At least you found it and it seems that you weren't alone. Wasn't there another guy on the other forum that was having similar issues? I wonder if he has the same problem?

Not sure...I remember reading about a guy on here that went and did dynos and everything showing his truck had 1/3 less power. Can't remember who it was but going to try and track him down. There were a few others I remember as well.

I will check mine as soon as I have the time. See the original post https://www.f150forum.com/f70/post-tsb-power-loss-confirmed-via-dyno-229883/

No problem...I did some digging and sent a PM to a couple others as well...hoping this may help some people. Ford service...you reading this?
It is important to disconnect and clean the connections and then refasten...just because it looks like it isn't leaking...the pipe could be slipping while in boost. Especially in trucks that have a lot of oil in the IC like mine.
