Default thinking of making the switch on tuners.

I have a 2012 f150 eco boost and iv been running the livernois 91 race tune for a while now and I like how it runs. Iv been waiting for them to release the xv1 tune but it doesn't look like it's coming out soon enough. I just installed my mac downpipes and stainless works exhaust and picked up a 170 thermostat I'm waiting to install, IV been looking at the MPT tunes and have heard good things about them and and their customer service, for the guys running mpt tunes how much of a difference is it to my v10 livernois tune? Also is it worth it to go with the sct live wire? I plan on keeping my livernois tuner for towing but I really want a new tune that runs harder then my v10.

Personally, I'd stick with LMS. That's the route I'm going once I get around to tuning my truck. They seem to be the most experienced with the EB, and they seem to have a good presence and prompt customer service.

LMS has been good to me. I recently bought a Sct tuner so I could have more options on tunes. Mpt is the real deal - I love the way my truck runs now.

Before you get the LiveWire, check out the new SCT X4.

I can tell you from my own experience - MPT is light years ahead of the V10 tune. I have ran the LMS 93 V2 and liked it a lot .... Not so much on the V10. However the truck with Mpt pulls like a freaking freight train !

What's the difference on the x4? I want to buy one of these tunes prolly next week the track opens up next month and I'd like to see what it can do l. Last year with the v2 tune only it went 14.8, I have yet to run the v10 at the track and with the new exhaust setup but I'm thinking mabe 14.4 if I'm lucky. I'd like to see what the mpt tune can do

The main benefit of the X4 over the SF3 3015 is the X4 can do real time guages as well and the 3015 cannot.

X4 has a few other tweaks done to it but that's the biggest difference.

Not knocking on LMS's CS they're gtg there. But in comparisons to other tuners they are 8 months behind the rest of them in development on the ecoboost truck platform.

If you want to spend $625 on a proprietary tuning device and receive what was great back then well go ahead by all means. In this case "The grass IS greener on the other side".

Consider leading edge. Erick's customer service and quality tuning is second to none.
