There is a fix for the condensation build up in the intercooler!
I had the updates done in February and still have the 40 to 50 hesitation. Today the check engine light came on turns out it is the right side cat is bad. Of course the service manager says the cat shouldn't go bad. As the tech is pulling codes he tells me the right cat should have also been replaced. Maybe the service managers should listen to the customer once in a while.
xaoc25 and others ... I have a ScanGauge II which monitors TPS ( Throttle Position ). I was flooring it Saturday on the expressway. I noticed that the TPS would not go above 55%. Before I have the PCM update fix, I could swear that the TPS percentage would go to near 100. I think the engineers finally figured out that they needed to restrict the air flow.
Can someone else confirm this?
Does 5Star or Livernois tunes remove this restriction?

Just wanted to let the board know about my inter cooler replacement. I experienced the loss of power during acceleration in the rain the other day. I called the dealer and dropped it off the next afternoon. They had it for two days and performed TSB 13-03-03.
No fuss, no argument, just a new inter cooler and a deflector shield.

It's hard to believe that a re-flash will fix the problem when trucks built out after Ford new about this problem (which were outfitted with both the new intercooler and the latest flash) are still having shudder, loss of power, complete fall on their faces issues. Mine was built out in June of 2012, after they had incorporated the "fix" and I still experienced shudders and loss of power in humid weather on the highway.
They ended up changing injectors, plugs, a coil pack, and I haven't experienced shudders since, but my mileage is completely dead.
