I had the updates done in February and still have the 40 to 50 hesitation. Today the check engine light came on turns out it is the right side cat is bad. Of course the service manager says the cat shouldn't go bad. As the tech is pulling codes he tells me the right cat should have also been replaced. Maybe the service managers should listen to the customer once in a while.

What is wrong with the cat when is goes bad, plugged or ? Would it throw a code if it was gutted?

It sets off the check engine light when it is not flowing correctly. At least that is how I understood it.

Just had mine in the shop for a coolant leak was the Turbo, coolant line going in.

Dealer can't fix it til Ford tells them if line and fitting is serviceable or if they need to replace the turbo.

I believe there are 02 sensors both upstream and downstream of the cats and if the cats become ineffective it will throw the code.

Can someone else confirm this?
Does 5Star or Livernois tunes remove this restriction?

There was a thread about ScanGauge back when the trucks first came out and people were saying TPS wouldn't hit 100%...believe it was 70-something.

Just wanted to let the board know about my inter cooler replacement. I experienced the loss of power during acceleration in the rain the other day. I called the dealer and dropped it off the next afternoon. They had it for two days and performed TSB 13-03-03.

No fuss, no argument, just a new inter cooler and a deflector shield.

It's hard to believe that a re-flash will fix the problem when trucks built out after Ford new about this problem (which were outfitted with both the new intercooler and the latest flash) are still having shudder, loss of power, complete fall on their faces issues. Mine was built out in June of 2012, after they had incorporated the "fix" and I still experienced shudders and loss of power in humid weather on the highway.
They ended up changing injectors, plugs, a coil pack, and I haven't experienced shudders since, but my mileage is completely dead.
