Bottom line is that I do not trust nor do I want this vehicle. I don't want to take a bath on a trade or sell it to some poor schmuck.

Good luck, I don't know what the long haul of my 5.0 will be and my intention is not to start engine flame war by any means. I just wanted a better understanding of how much better the consumer protection is in the US then it is in Canada. My 5.0 has been rock solid so far but trust me if it goes to the crapper I'll be the first to be yelling POS you won't find me defending it if turns out crap before it's time.

In the end if my truck was too crap out I'd have no choice to fix it best as possible under warranty if it's still in place and trade it in and suck up any losses or deal with the headache of a lemon. I won't keep taking it to every dealer in a 500 mile radius I'll give them a few fair chances to get it right and then sadly traded in for some other poor fool to deal with. Same route Ghost had to go with his truck after constant engine replacements.

Once you lawyer up which I assume is the route BucketMan went which is basically the lemon law route I assume then you're silenced and so is Ford, hopefully you won't have to go that route by most likely you'll get denied and they won't cave in easily. Keep us posted I'm interested in the outcome.

I did it, right at the bottom of the intercooler by the exit pipe. A tiny little thing, even though I only had a stumble once and never since. Can't tell it made any difference in boost. It never drips in the parking spot and we've had a very humid spring and summer(for this area).

Not going to happen while I'm still under warranty, but if someone wants to throw me an extra intercooler, I'll definately try it!

You should have confidence in your 5.0. I've heard nothing but good things about that engine. In fact, if Ford comes thru with buyback/replacement, I'm going to replace the EcoPoop with the exact same truck with a 5.0. If not, probably a Toyota Tundra. Thanks and good luck.

It has been 1 year since my 2011 Ecoboost had the loss of power and shudder. The fist TSB was completed last year, the intercooler shield and reflash .Well on my trip to Maine last Saturday and on the ride home today it happened,Bad,after 2 straight hours of drivng 75mph, I was coming out of a toll booth when Wham! the shudder hits.I pulled into the right lane and let it clear. No dummy lights came on and I continued.Today it was the worse shudder yet, again coming out of a toll I went to pass slower traffic and the shudder/loss of power starts and keeps shuddering for acouple miles,I was alittle nervous this time due to the heavy traffic, again no dash light,so I am thinking no code was stored.I call the dealer in the middle of the week to get it in for the first shudder, so they get the truck on Monday. My Ford only has 14.500 miles on it and after reading all these pages I might call Full Race for thier fix.I woud like to call Ford if anyone has the contact info please drop me a response.

65,000 miles and I have only experienced it once. Heavy rain in the city.

We have been having a lot of rain lately so I decided to hook my Torque Pro app up and see if there was anything strange going on.

I was monitoring short and long trim, Cat temps, boost, intake temp, O2 voltage etc,

Everything seemed normal except 1.... O2 voltage normally is in the range of .8 volts and changes when you slow down or speed up.

But when driving in rain the gauge got erratic bouncing around more than usual. I tried to capture it but wasn't able to. I was monitoring both sides and both gauges were doing the same thing.

As soon as it quits raining and there are no more puddles the O2 goes back to being pretty steady.

I had noticed the same thing but was not sure. I don't think it's just condensation in the cac. It's just crazy how fast it starts to run bad when it gets wet outside.

Have either of you checked your connections to the O2 sensors?
