am i the only one having pinging issues and engine shutter misfire? finally got it updated and have it shifting propperly and have my 160kmph top speed back from the 150 kmph on the last stock tune. happy about that. but i get bad pinging and like a solid miss or shutter. like someone is turning key off and on really quick. im in canada and have maybe a crappy gas compared to u.s. but 87 octane should be good. Had this for over 3 months and never get to use it. driving me nuts. They are trying but no luck.

I Just Visited the Super Chips Update Site and there is a NEW Update Available for Download.

It is a DTC Code Update.

I'm NOT sure when it was Released because I check the Update Site on an Irregular Basis, Maybe every Two to Three Weeks.

I am also unsure what Codes we're Updated.

I've been running it for about a week, and I love it... I am only running the mileage XS tune, and it is noticeably quicker off the line, shifts good, and gets a little better fuel economy than the latest factory PCM update for the EB.

Yeah. I haven't been able to use mine for Over 2 months now. I called last week and asked if they'd just forgotten to call me when they got it fixed. They said they were working on a new firmware and that they were getting a lot of calls from the ecoboost guys and that they'd call everyone when they got it done. 3 months ago the programmer which worked fine on my truck, loaded their "stock" tune on her truck as soon as I connected it, and gave the no 6th gear until 70mph problem then gave the "tuner error, call superchips" message when I tried to load any other program.

I'm getting quite fed up.

That's strange about your experience. I had the same issue and they had it fixed in 24 hours.

I'm hesitant to update to the new maps, because I like the tune that's on there now. I was pissed at the second update where they tried to eliminate turbo noise. Hopefully the new one is more of the same.

i don't have the SC but i got a SCT and everytime i go between 87 eco and perf/tow i lose the indicator too. however you can just tap the + button on the shifter and it will return.

I had the same problem... the programmer worked fine, albeit with a pretty loud BOV, but after going to the dealer and getting the latest TSB applied, I couldn't program any more, just getting the "tuner error, call Superchips" error.

Ron explained that the stock tune in the SC needed to be updated with the latest stock tune, and that he'd call me in a few days. He never called back, so a month later I posted my experience to the SC forum. He answered the same day, got me a temporary dealer status (for some reason this was needed) then told me to connect it again. It updated to a newer firmware and now it works.

The BOV isn't quite as loud anymore, and the power and economy are still there (I run the mileage XS tune).

I have a 2011 f-150 ecoboost and purchaced the Airaid intake system ,heartthrob cat back exhaust system and the Superchips Flashpaq Tuner ,the tuner is nothing but problems from trying to update it to dealing with the techs,when you try to update the tuner it tells you that it's updated, and it's not,the noise coming from the engine compart is unbareable and spark knocks everytime you give it gas,called the techs told them what it was doing and there answer was so whats your problem.....this thing did nothing but make my truck run worse,I would advise people to do more reasearch and find another tuner this one does not work on the ecoboost,I returned my truck to stock tune runs a lot better then any tune that this tuner has,myself if I can't get a refund I will toss this and look for another tuner or stay stock,I just want to give other ecoboost owners a heads-up on this Superchips Flashpaq Tuner <does not work
