I have a 2002 F140 5.4 triton. Ot shutters at 55 mph but runs good as long as I put fuel to it. I changed spark plugs and put a new air intake manifold. First I was idling rough and lean, now since I changed those it runs sluggish in idle and when I get to 55 it shutters. The strong smell of gas concerns me.

Did you actually replace the intake manifold? If so, i'm assuming you had to unseat all of the injectors and the fuel rails? I would check to make sure all of the o-rings are all seated correctly.

Why did you replace the manifold? Did you have the coolant leak at the crossover tube?
