we are really very happy with the sound of the full system BUT if you want something more quiet, you could still run the high flow downpipe into your stock exhaust to get some performance gains with minimal change in sound.

Lol honestly i really like a lot of the products you guys make and would be absolutely honored to have a quality american made exhaust. Perhaps im just not an overall fan of the sound but that was something i knew when i bought it.

Perhaps we need to hear more configurations of this setup? such as factory down pipe with chambered vs straight.

Having been under my truck and looking at the factory exhaust... the bottleneck on the system seems to be the resonator, which looks like 2.5" in and out? If a piece of 3" pipe were put in its place, the system in effect is a true 3" system. The factory muffler, although its a huge canister, is free-flow - it is a straight through design.

My question is, would the high flow downpipes with the resonator replaced with a 3" pipe to match the balance of the factory 3" be much louder than stock? Would it give me a definite performance gain?

I want turbo whistle, maybe a bit louder note, but I do not want cab drone.
