I drive a stock f150 5.0 all night long last night....and it sounds great but is no where close to the EB tuned, lol.

I would like to drive a SSI tuned 5.0 though...when one of ya'll 5.0's going to be in NC, lol?

Update this is just an added effect.

85% of this was Highway---2 stop lights caught me, and one 3/4 throttle pass----most of it was running with cruise control set to 65mph.

running Ford's newest stock Flash a ~200 mile highway run netted me a whopping 16.4 MPG, I was pissed. This isn't scientific but this is using the same "Shell" 93 octane fuel and similar driving. I"M THRILLED ABOUT THIS!!!!

I just installed T5 yesterday. I went from SCT canned tune to this. The power and throttle response is incredible! I'm absolutely amazed by the power. The turbos are dumping at 2500 rpm!

I have a 2011 Eco, catless downpipe, 3" exhaust with resonator delete, AFE stage 1 intake and 35" tires on stock 18s.

This tune was by far the biggest increase in power. However my fuel mileage has decreased. I went from 17 mpg at 70mph cruise to 13.5 to 14 mpg. I know I need to regap my plugs because I'm getting a little miss under hard acceleration. I've only ran about 30 miles with this tune on 93 octane coming from 87 octane. But I expected an increase in fuel mileage not a decrease. Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to contact Shawn to have my tune tweaked or will it get that much better regapping the plugs and more drive time to adjust to the tune?

Try gapping the plugs to .028, that seems to be the spot. Let it run for 200 or so miles or for 4 or 5 drive cycles before making any decisions about the mpg.

Like what has already been said.

1) RE-Gap those plugs ASAP, like now. 11ft lbs....of tq only.

2). Allow about 200 miles until you really look at the MPG's

3). BE CAREFULL-----if you are still giving the same throttle input as normally you are actually going to be accelerating faster and using more fuel. If you accelerate based off of the typical speed of accelerating you def should NOT lose mileage...the gain may be marginal.

I'm getting awesome Hwy mileage....but that is staying out of boost visually from gauges and the instant MPG's (which dang near impossible with the new stock tune---thing turned 1-2lbs ALL the time). Most people will see a slight decrease in highway mileage at first from accelerating quicker. Just food for thought.

#4)-------MAKE SURE your tire revs per mile are accurate, too....double check.
