Since I bought my truck, (2 weeks ago) every time you accelerate up to speed, loading the engine, it squeals loudly. It wont do it in neutral or driving slowly, it must be under normal load. The squeal sounds just like a brake squealer. My guess is the intake is pulling air from somewhere. I checked the air filter box, it was secure, and even removed the filter and went up the street and back thinking maybe the filter was restricting it too much. However, none of that is the problem. It might be in the throttle body somewhere? It will drive you nuts! The motor growl is aggressive and I love that sound, but not the annoying squeal when you are accelerating, it goes away as soon as you let off the gas pedal. Any input would be appreciated!

Mine does not do this at all. I would say take the back to the dealer and let them take a look at it.

take it to the dealer....that's why you buy new trucks...so you don't have to deal with stuff like this by yourself.

It is scheduled to go into service next week. I was hoping to get an inside scoop on the issue, or it would be something really simple. Ill let yall know what they say!

could be a belt out of balance or something maybe.

Maybe a serpentine belt tensioner is not doing it's job??? Total pisser with a new truck but I'm sure it'll be taken care of.

I have a 05 5.4 and it does the same thing I sprayed some belt glue on it and it stopped it you might could give that a shot

Op shouldn't do this. It's under warranty, let the dealer deal with it...
