Finally got to run my Socal tunes this weekend. As I have mentioned before I now have tried 5*, Unleashed, MPT, Socal and yes I also have Livernois. Out of those tunes I used the 5* and Livernois in the 10K I have on my truck. Livernois runs very strong and has stock feeling until you get to WOT and it will run good. The 5* gave me the towing performance I wanted with the throttle response I wanted. I like to give very little throttle and have the truck go. I ran Unleashed very little because my truck surged in certain conditions. To be fair I didn't spend the time to work it out (didn't have the time). I ran MPT the least becuase the way it shifted was not good at all.

My first impression with Socal 87 (level 5) today...well let's just say I can't wipe the grin off my face! It is that good (just like everyone else has been saying). There is no turbo lag what-so-ever! This thing rips off the line, period! The amazing part to me though is how much better the driveability is from anything else I have driven. Shawn wanted me to quickly data log the level 5 87 tune to make sure things were good. I did this today and sent the files today. Shawn's response time is second to none. I never waited more than 5 mintues for a response on email and he also told me to call (on a Sunday) to talk about the logs so that he understood how I ran the truck. Everything is good!

Thanks for all the work many have done to bring this together! I'm looking forward to running the 91 tune very soon

The best thing to do is take it to the track. Keep adding meth and it should get faster, MPH. When it stops or declines then back it off to the peak.
So you would suggest the 625ml on %100

Yes. But I would compare them at the track to make the final decision.

Did anyone make it to the track this weekend or did it rain again?

I really want to hear what you have to say Geno. Since you have Geoff's tunes, I want to hear the comparison in the two. That's the whole reason I have not bought a tuner. I'm waiting on FR's to come out.

I have to say, Shawn is a heck of a guy. After reading a few reviews the last couple of days I thought I had to try this out. I emailed Shawn yesterday with what I wanted and he sent me pricing info, etc. and said send him my strategy code and SCT serial number along with a list of mods on my truck. Sent that to him about 830 tonight along with the Paypal and 20 min later I had tunes in my email. Super quick and that is how customer service should be. Can't wait to load them in my truck tomorrow morning.

I want to hear from you guys who race a lot. Geno and Corey for sure on where you think the shift points need to be on these trucks for the fastest times.
