No problem! If my travels bring me to San Antone someday; I'll take you up on the offer

Well I pressed the start button and it froze. I restarted the comp then it had question marks when trying to connect with vehicle. Unplugged both and tried again. Nothing. Ill try it in the morning.

So you just feathered it until 3k RPMs and then floored it?

No. Boosted about 1200rpm then eased the pedal until 3k by then it was mashed.. couldn't even do a burnout without wheel hoping lol

I can't imagine trying to launch in 2wd on stock tires with this tune. A boosted 4x4 with my 33's slips a little before take off.

So, I finished my little project for work.....

.....and even though I have yet to turn it in, I feel that I should reward myself in some way.

But first, some questions. Now I know that calling Shawn is best but it's late and I can't call now anyway. With my 5* tunes, all options were locked including tire size. Are Socal's tunes like this? I'm only asking because I may get some different tires in a couple months, not sure what size I'm gonna go with yet. With 5* I would have to have them change the tune for a different size, which to me, also sounded like there would be a charge for that. If I purchase some Socal tunes now, what is the fee for a tire size change down the road? Also thinking of going catless later, is there a turn off the O2 fee?

I've heard about the BandC, level 5, and 5hot. Are there any other levels? What I want is a 87 heavy tow tune, a 87 performance/light tow tune, and maybe a 87 hot tune. All with the speed limiter removed and all with MattH shift strategy. The touchy throttle may be good for some but I don't want it too touchy. I'm on far too many gravel/dirt roads and construction sites for that. Eliminating the DBW lag, yes please but not too touchy. Is that possible?

Even though I missed the boat about a week ago, I'm still impressed with Shawn's offer to me. So much that I feel like I need to try his tunes. Hopefully, if the stars align right tomorrow, I can call him.
