Not sure I have noticed this on mine but I will see if I notice anything when I go back today. Are you using a level 5 tune?

More I think about it, this is what I think it as well. Using the shift strategy Shawn and I have worked on, I don't notice this on mine. Ask Shawn for the MattH shift strategy and give it a try. If you don't like it you can reload your orignal tune. Keep in mind, these transmissions adapt so you need to run through all throttle positions several times for it to learn.

So he would just send me that shift strategy and add it to my current tune?

So far, the only change I would make is to have it shift into 6th a little later. It currently shifts to 6th at around 45 mph and I would like it to shift a little later at around 53 mph. That is my preference, and others might like it the way it is. Other then that, awesome tune. The best I have to date by far, and I thought it would be impossible for someone to replace my 5 Star as my favorite daily driving tune.
Al, my version now shifts to 6th at 52-53 mph under steady acceleration. Seems like the 3-4, 4-5,and 5-6 have all been moved up just a little bit, I really like it better than the stock or SCT canned tunes where it shifted into 6th at about 42-43. Currently running the 91 Level 5, driveability is great, shift points are about as close to ideal as I think they could be with the way I drive.

Yah Id like to know as well if anyone with a 5.0 hadn't SoCal tune. I'm very interested in getting SoCal to tune my 2013 5.0 and so any feedback would be awesome.

So far Eco guys love his tune so lets hope his 5.0 rocks too.

Thanks
Brandon

I am sooo glad I never bought tunes from LMS. I just thought they were over priced when some people with the canned SCT tunes were running as close as they were to the LMS tunes. I really liked the canned SCT tunes, they were a good boost over stock, and I think they do make a good tow tune. But SoCal tunes are head and shoulders over SCT tunes. Better driveability, way more power, and so far better mpg--if you keep your foot out of it.
