I hate to come out of the blue and ask this, but has anyone actually run this tuner against Livernois? I've had Livernois for a while now, but am considering trying out the SoCal tune. Things are kind of heated up at the Livernois thread and really cant ask this kind of questions on other thread.

I would say try it its only money. Get a hot one and wear depends, I would also recommend 1lb ***** hanging from your cheeks to help keep the grin down.

Lol, that's true. It's just money. But, I'd hate to spend more money expecting to run better ETs and not get the results. The fastest I ran with Livernois was 13.81 @ 98mph and couldn't get it faster...

All out power is great and I would love to have a couple of those tunes to play around with...but I'm guessing a tow tune would be run on my truck all Fall(tow hunting trailer every weekend, sometimes during the week) and Winter(bad roads) and other times when I tow a lot...so I'd probably be running a tow tune 70% of the time.
I have the SoCal 87 and 91 tow tunes. I have to take my 9500 lb fiver for some work on Sept 13 (60 miles round trip) and then a 300 mile round trip through the mountains of NH the following weekend. I actually tried towing a couple of weeks ago, but something was obviously wrong so I returned to stock. Turned out my spark plugs were shot and over gapped. Shawn still went back and revised my tunes even though it wasn't his problem, but thought he could make them better.
The tow tunes make a nice daily driver and may be my winter tune.

If you just want it for racing, they are probably close. If you want it for daily driving, you would probably not look back. I switched after a year and the SoCal 87 performance tune felt somewhat like the LMS 91 except it took much less throttle input to get the same results. The LMS 87 tunes were unimpressive to me as was the 89 tune. For the SoCal 87 tune, you KNOW the truck has a tune on it.
BTW, SoCal is getting LMS converts daily.

Thanks Corey wait till you see what I sent you tonight. Mach 1!!!

I did some monitoring with my torque app earlier, and my AFR looked good about 11.56 at wot, is that about right? My cat temp got up to about 1400, and hovered around 1000 to 1200 under normal driving. So far does this all look pretty good? Like I said I'll do some data logging this weekend but just making sure everything looks good initially.

I'm a very paranoid type of person, so sorry if I seem overly cautious.
