Because in those 2 instances an inspector will come on site, and he said they (as in the tech at the deal) would set it back to stock for me. Told him I would probably set it back to stock myself if it was one of those issue, he said that would work too. I like this place.
So looks like I'll be throwing caution to the wind and diving in on this one.

I've been thinking about talking to my service rep regarding tunes. I think being honest with them is the best way to go about it.

Brian,
Have you talked to sct or can you and ask them why the eco boost dyno curve for 93octane drops off past 5750 rpm but for 87 octane it doesn't drop off. Also do they adjust the trans tuning for this drop in power at peak like that?
In other news the 87tune on my truck works great. Cant wait to get a tank of 93in it.

In all honesty, with a question that specific, I would suggest just emailing their tech folks and asking direct as I don't know the answer to that.

No it won't be. Im sure that eventually SCT will write the support for the iTSX and the Ecoboost but now that they have the EB supported with the SF3, next big project they will be working on is writing a iTSX like device for Androids.
No time frame specifically but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's 6 to 12 months before they do. The SF3 is by FAR the most popular tuner so they wanted to get that one done first.

Installed the 93 Octane tune today. Truck feels STRONG.
Shifts better than stock during normal driving, at WOT shifts are good and firm. 1-2 second feels like a power shift on a manual trans, chirps the tires. No more surging and the engine doesn't fall on its face at higher revs like the stock tune does. Smooooooth power! No weird noises, the engine sounds great. Mileage seems to be about the same....but I haven't done enough miles yet to know for sure.
I'm very satisfied.
