Some trucks can be very quick through the 1/4 mile.

Got this in an email from Roush today.
The "Calibrated" kit has a 3yr/36k warranty, "Tuners" are 90days. I would think the dealers would start selling the Calibrated kits.

Unfortunately neither are in my budget and Roush never took me up on my repeated emails offering my truck for a demo since last spring!

^ exactly what I was thinking. That's a lot of cash for barely 525. I'm just waiting on my injectors and plugs to come in. 600+

One thing is the roush tune is or at least on older models was pretty conservative because they offer the warranty. A simple pulley swap long tubes and a tune will net huge gains.

I'll file this one away in the "Things not generally said 10 years ago" file.

I am amazed at HP and 1/4 mile times now days. The 700 hp kit......700 freakin' HP in a daily driver truck.

There are plenty of sprayed 500whp 5.0s rolling around for much less than 6k. Of course they all claim to be tune, intake and exhaust only. Props to those that take the plunge on it.
