I am now 300 miles in to my new vehicle and I am getting 13.0 MPG all city driving on this tank. I got the 5.0 with 4WD to help me save fuel and I am still not seeing anywhere near the 14 city that I am supposed to get. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??

Where I went to school, 13 was really close to 14
It will get better as you get more miles on it, as in a few thousand miles

Oh good. Another thread crying about gas mileage. I bought a 3 ton hunk of steel with over 300 hp and it isn't getting 40mpg. Gtfo of here and go buy a prius u jackwagon.

B) are you calculating the mileage, or just going by what the truck says?

C) are you comparing the 5.0 to the 6.2 when you say you wanted to get better economy?

D) 13 mpg is nearly 93% of the 14 you were "promised"

At 17 miles with my new truck, I was getting 12-13. Now at 2900k I am seeing a little over 15 mpg city.My truck has 3.73 gears.I have noticed any idling time kills your average. My truck was for the first 1000k was doing all kind of strange stuff( Strange shifting and shutting down after full throttle shifts).I could not find any codes. Truck runs great now. Give it some time.
