Roush 421428 Exhaust installed on my 5.0

This will fit the 6.2 as well. There were special instructions for cutting your factory flange off and reusing it though. It looks like the 6.2L exhaust flange is different than the 3.5/5.0 one.

All in all pretty happy. It is honestly too loud for my tastes, but my wife likes it. If I could keep the mean sound outside the truck and cut the noise in half inside I would be completely happy. But you cannot have it all.
I also have noticed a very slight vibration through the floorboards. Nothing I can hear, but you can feel it. I may try bolting on a damper, perhaps reuse the stock one, to see if I can eliminate that.

I just ordered this kit from stage 3 and should ship tomorrow. Do you think it looks like you could dump it over the axel pretty easy and add a 3 or 4" tip while having it all tucked up and hidden?

I'm not exactly sure what you are going for here. You talking about cutting it off right behind the rear axle and then doing a hidden tip? If that is it, you *might* be able to. However, it runs very close to the same path as the stock exhaust, so that would give you an idea. The only difference is that it runs straight out the back instead of the OEM turned side exit.

Thats what I was getting at...putting like a 8" long tip or something and cutting the roush right after it goes over the axle. I looked at my stocker and it seemed there might be room but wasnt sure how the roush went. I should have mine on by friday night but I just dont love the exit on it so would like to tuck it under the bumper.

As an update (and I mentioned this in a different thread) I installed a 3" MBRP resonator this past weekend. I think I finally have the sound I want. It is still loud, but drops the interior vibration/noise by a huge factor. Still loud on the outside, and sounds great.
