ok, so looking back at this thread on a regular computer I see the OP has a video posted...lol. Guess I missed that looking at this site through the Ipad2 lol

I still am interested in hearing what she sounds like inside the cabin. If someone could do some footage of this it would be great and of course various speeds/punching it from a complete stop as well.

Thanks and hopefully my request is not askin to much...

Would have done a video for you, but I couldn't stand listening to the drone in my cab any longer. Between 1800 to 2000 RPMs on the interstate it was pointless even carrying on a conversation with anyone in the truck. Ended up putting the factory resonator back on. Instead of making a $550 mistake, now I feel like I only made about a $400 mistake. Not happy at all with what I thought was going to be equivalent to the Roush kit that was on my '07 FX4. That kit was perfect - plenty of throat in the low end, no drone, but not LOUD for the sake of being belligerent. Again, keep in mind this is just my opinion. There are plenty of people on this thread that like it. I'm 39 and have had after market exhaust on every vehicle I've ever owned. This by far is the least satisfied (actually most dissatisfied) that I've ever been with my decision to put aftermarket on my vehicle. I wasted money on this product and neither Streetsideauto or Roush really wanted to listen to my complaint and do anything about it. Now with the factory resonator it's almost too mellow. Thinking about at some time getting a Magnaflow resonator, but the unknown of that scares me and I might be pi$$ing away more money. Not worth it at this point. Lesson learned I guess...

I am the OP and I agree with everything the guy above me says. The exhaust sounds great outside the cab.....inside....not so much. I took a recent 6 hour road trip and put the factory resonator back on for some peace and quiet. When I got home I pulled it back off.

Not sure what I am going to do either. I too am dissatisfied. I don't really want to try anything else as I am afraid it will exhibit the same issue.

1800 - 2000 rpm is the point where the drone is bad for me too. Right smack in the middle of freeway speeds.

Maybe I am just getting to old.

That's what I was afraid of when researching exhausts. Dreaded highway drone. I ended up with the Borla touring series for the raptor. A little more rumble than stock with ZERO drone. Love it!

Yeah..I'm playing with the idea of selling it and trying again later. The Solo units look nice, and with the J-Pipe they might deal with the drone a bit better.

I don't know. I may pull my Roush system off this weekend and put the stocker back on for a while. I really love the agressive sound outside, but the drone is getting too much to handle.

WOW, above comments are kinda making me rethink this purchase...
I def do not want to deal with in cab drone but at same time, the sound is what I really fell in luv with on the Roush.

Will keep paying attention and make a choice soon.

Just installed mine today. It sounds great to me. Actually, better than I thought it would be. After reading some post I was expecting it to be crazy loud. Also when opening the box and the directions said for offroad use only I got even more worried. It was not bad at all. I think the volume and tone is perfect. If it was less loud then I think I would rather just keep the stock exhaust on. I thought the stock exhaust had a nice tone but I wanted it to really hear it.

If it is too noisy for you. One possible option that may be cheaper than adding a resonator might be just putting some dynomat under your carpet and even in the doors. It would quiet up any road noise too.

Thanks Michigan Man, if I was dealing with an old beater, sheet metal truck I might consider the dynomat route. I actually did that in my Mustang days, but I don't really feel like "ghetto-ing" my $45,000+ truck up. Glad you like yours, I'm literally baffled, though, with guys on here saying they aren't experiencing any drone. What's the deal with that? Surely Bskouby and I aren't the only ones. Bskouby - keep me posted as to what you do or if you ever get a better combination than what you're currently running. I'm not opposed to tweaking a little more down the road, but the difference between you and me is that I have to pay the labor each time I want to change mine up. I think that's what has really aggravated me about this whole process. Each time I want to try something different more money goes out the window. In my opinion Roush's in-cabin video is misleading. Now I really do wish I would have done the video and submitted it to them for an explanation...
