Not from them. If you go to their site, the total price of the two items is the same as the price on the ebay link. You may be able to find someone selling cheaper. stage3motorsports.com. is exactly the same price.

Well.... I went back the other way. I pulled the MBRP resonator out. I didn't realize just how much it changed the tone. Without the resonator it is much more aggressive. As for any drone in cabin it really didn't change all that much. I guess the roush muffler has finally broken in.

I do have a floorboard vibration at about 1800 RPM....I am going to work on that next.

Bskouby - first of all, thanks for the thread and the review. I'm pretty bummed out about this exhaust. I had it put on last week and I can't help but thinking that I made a $600 mistake. It's WAY too loud for me. And trust me, I know loud.

I had a '95 5.0 Mustang with equal length BBK shorties, BBK off road pipe and Flowmaster two-chambers. That was loud, this is equivalent. 20 years ago, I would have thought this is awesome. Now that I'm 20 years older this drone is KILLING me.

I bought this kit because I had the same thing on my '07 F-150 FX4 w/5.4 liter. That Roush kit sounded PERFECT and I had no reason to believe this one would be any different. I had no drone in my cab with that one and decibel-wise it much quieter - yet still had plenty of throat. This kit is bordering obnoxious, in my opinion. Amazing everyone on here that has chimed in - too quiet, no drone, just right, too loud, too much drone, obnoxious... Everyone definitely has different tolerance levels...

Just to give me piece of mind and to hope I can salvage this exhaust, what are your thoughts about putting the factory resonator back on? I know you opted for the MBRP, but I couldn't 100% tell by your last post if that MBRP even helped the drone or it did initially and then the Roush broke in even more and cancelled the resonator out.

Put it this way, this thing can't get any louder for me, otherwise the whole thing is coming off and I'll go back to factory exhaust, sell the kit on here or Craigslist and lick my wounds.

I know I'm showing my age, but I'm really disappointed with this - especially having what I thought was the equivalent kit on my '07 and LOVING the mellow tone that came from it...

I did run it for a while with the stock resonator. It was very mellow....almost too mellow. The MBRP solution seemed to met in the middle....but as time went on the tone changed and I didn't care for it.

I decided to go back to the pure roush system to see how I liked it. It is still loud but the drone doesn't seem as bad. I guess the pipes and muffler mellowed a bit.

No doubt about it.....it is very loud. Some days I love it.....and some days I still consider putting my stock system back on.

Just got mine from streetsideauto. They had it priced at $582 with free shipping. I had a coupon code in there "autometer2012" it gave me 15% off that so I paid $495 with free shipping.

I wanted a Borla or Roush before I stumbled on the SOLO system (Mach X duals). http://solo-performance.com/v8-f150-...exhaust-system
There are reviews and details on this forum if you are interested. Try and sell that Roush and I think you'll get what you are looking for with the SOLO, mine is great and has been getting mellowed with use. My wife made fun of me when I first put it on" what are you 17?" Then she drove it for a day and had to admit she likes it.

Oh yeah the materials and price are really good. I think you can get a Forum discount too.

Also, if you could do an in cab vid to hear if or how much drone you can hear would be greatly appreciated.
