Anybody getting a lot of soot on their tips?

I love the way this kit looks and sounds! Although, I am getting some drone at times that gets pretty annoying I've thought about putting the stock resonator on it to see what happens but, I love that deep gurgle at idle and then it just spits fire when you punch it. Dont want to lose that.

It does drone some at certain speeds but I'm ok with it for now. Haven't noticed and soot because I haven't had my truck for About 2 weeks now.

$16000 for that boss package is a little steep.

Yeah, the drone was just bit much for me. I threw the stock resonator back on and it killed too much sound. Still sounded good, just too muffled. I purchased an MBRP 3" resonator online with a new piece of 3" stainless pipe (didn't want to hack my roush pipe up). That is just a about perfect. Cut the drone down a bit (just below my tolerance level) but still screams when you get on it.

If it gets too bad for me I'll do the same.

I put it on my RCSB 2wd a couple days ago. I must have a different threshold of what I consider "loud", because it isn't even slightly offensive to me, although I'll admit it is louder than Magnaflow and Flowmaster catbacks I have on other vehicles. It's a little more deep and mellow than I expected. The videos I saw made it sound a bit more raspy.

I am the same way...I thought it would be louder too but im ok with it. It did seem to get louder too after a few hundred miles.

Just got back from the shop...man o man.. I love the way it sounds! So deep and throaty.. I am so happy I went with it. The sound is awesome even at idle. I also tested it at highway speeds as I go to work on a toll road where I get up to 75-80 and I feel like there is no drone at all unless I get on it. All in all, happy as hell.
