It's not always correct but its better than nothing if you are hunting ethanol free. http://pure-gas.org/
I have to agree with Bruce. My friend works at a big refinery here in Oklahoma and he told me the same thing. The places selling 100% gas is really bull****ting you, because like bruce said even in the "100%" gas there are anywhere from 2-5% or more Ethanol. So its really like 99-98% gas.lol

If you know anyone who works at a refinery, they will tell you this. I know 2 guys who work at 2 different refineries and they both say the same thing. This 100% gas advertising is bullcrap, it's added to each and every batch, no matter where it goes.

It is generally true. When the epa got rid of MTBE (I think that was the additive) ethanol was the replacement. But at 2-3% it isn't a big deal.

I can hear mine ping for just a second when I first load the engine down on the hwy using 87. This only happened after intercooler update, doesn't ping while running 93.

Hmm things maybe different in Canada. The FAQ tab here specifically says that V Power gas in Canada does not contain any ethanol.

I run 91 cause it's the highest here in Maine and can def tell a diff in overall smoothness and power. As far as the shutter goes...bunch people have had success gaping or changing the spark plugs to .030. Shudder goes away. I can't really tell cause I'm tuned and smooth either way. 91 T4 is the way too go !!

The fact the engine runs just fine on 87 RON fuel and is the recommended fuel IS a testament to how it's designed.
Yes, as I already said, advanced computer controlled electronic ignition and valve control do a great deal to allow an engine designed for high pressure premium fuel to run on regular fuel. Still it's base design is for premium. There is no surprise that as Ford has already stated, it does better with premium.

That would be true if it wasn't computer controlled direct injection. Ford has stated many times that they designed tge EB with direct injection so premium fuel would not be required. So no, they did not design the engine for premium fuel.

That may be true for the F150 but not the Taurus or MKS-premium only.
