Here are some pictures of the Carriage Works Grill:

Part #44383 is black. No drilling. Phillips screw driver is only tool needed. Cost is $87.64.

Link: http://www.autopartsdealer.com/carri...p278566-p.html

Hardware includes grill, brackets and backing strap, u-clips for the screws that insert into holes of the brackets and backing strap, 4 machine screws

Another view of hardware:

Picture of the bracket mounted and screwed into the back strap through the big hole of the truck bracket:

I know that my pics are not the best, but maybe it will give you an idea. The grill and hardware came with instructions and is very easy to install. Only thing I did was to snug up the screws to keep brackets from moving and to get everything lined up. Then I tightened all screws up.

Very good quality and I wasn't disappointed. Glad I bought this.

I bought this off eBay from sleek auto accessories. Great quality but the brackets don't even come close to meeting something solid. I added a few zip ties for some added pre-caution. I will be making a better bracket this weekend. Price was under 40 plus shipping.

That's the same one off eBay I used and honestly I don't think it would ever fall out even if you don't fasten it. I've put on 8,000k and some very rough roads and it hasn't moved at all. Better yet if I'm towing in the heat I can pop it out for more airflow.

Hopefully Ford gets hot on this issue before that rock does. Some nice a/m kits out there. Until Ford addresses this problem and gives owners some guideance on what they can do to resolve this; it may be wise to remove it during dealer visits. It might hinder a claim on any possible i/c issues you just never know. It is a mod with intent to protect.

Just bought my Platinum EB and didnt feel all warm and cuddly about the Plat grille anyway, so I opted for a total billet changeout from T-Rex. They may be the only AM supplier for Plat, not sure, but here are pics of how it turned out....

Was thinking a out installing a bullguard, but not sure if the airflow will be OK? Need to research options...
