Condensation Question
my ecoboost has almost 42k miles now and i live in houston tx which is humid as hell most of the year. i have not had any issues as people have stated that im aware of. What are the symptoms? fall on face under WOT? only issue i have ever gotten under WoT is misfire and wheel hop which the regapping of plugs fixed the misfire issue which only seemed to happen after getting my 4" afe exhaust.
Not trying to troll just trying to get some information i love my truck id put it against any tuned chevy, dodge, yota out there. This thing is a rocket ship with tune+exhaust

From what we know long steady driving (think: cruise control) for 1+ hour in humid conditions followed by stepping on it (as in to pass someone, etc) will trigger it.

Mine threw a light at about 42k mi with no real symptoms. Dealer/service tech checked light and said I got a new left side cat and intercooler out of the deal. He said he saw more complaints with the guys towing and hard pull show cutout and miss. I only had one instance pulling about 3500 lbs in rain near Newport News Va....cutout and miss only and light was already on so it didn't matter. ...it took a few weeks to get the backordered intercooler.... I keep a scan tool in the truck from my previous 150...240 k mi....used occasionally.....I would reset light when it came on during damp, rainy drives....clear days no prob. I'm at 53k mi and no further problems. It was so cool to feel the torque of the EB pulling...I'm 70 mph highway empty 95% time...
