P2111 P2112 codes on my 5.0L
Anyone else experience this on their 5.0L?
I cleaned out the air filter, MAF and TB. started it back up and let it idle then cleared the codes. It didn't pull the codes again in my 5 minute drive but it did pop up the "Wrench" icon again and did it's safe mode thing where it would idle rough and wouldn't let me give it any gas until I **** it off and started it again (which I used to drive it back into my driveway).
So far it seems like I will have to replace the TB -.-
Just curious if anyone else has experience this with their 2011+ 5.0L.
My truck is a 2013 FX4 w/ about 22k on it.
**thanks for any info y'all may have**

Could be (?) the throttle position sensor.
Have you been mucking around with the throttle body?

The only time I've touched the TB is to clean it after I got the codes. I'm not sure about the TPS, I guess I'll look into that a little more. So far with the 5.4l and most other fords it seems the two codes are directly related to the TB.

The throttle actuator is operated by the Engine Control Module (ECM) and it opens and closes the throttle valve using gears. The opening angle of the throttle valve is detected by the throttle position sensor, which is mounted on the throttle body. The throttle position sensor provides feedback to the ECM to control the throttle actuator and set the throttle valve angle in response to driver inputs.

I don't think I can purchase that separately, my Durango had a stand alone TPS but it's integrated in the TB on my truck. So I'd have to replace the TB to replace the TPS unless they sell that cover with the TPS chip on it separately. The electric TB's are like an all in one package now lol.

Without connecting to IDS for testing it's any ones guess but there is one thing you can try, open the hood and on the passenger side firewall you will see the pcm connectors with flip lock levers, disconnect all of them and reconnect. Ford's are well known for connector issues. Pic of pcm. .

I gave it a shot with no change. I start it up, idle for a couple of seconds and I'll try to get the rpms to about 2k and it will pop up the Wrench Symbol and kill the throttle and idle rough until I shut it down and restart it again. It hasn't popped up the Service Engine light yet since I've cleared them though. But it took a few times before it popped that light on the first time anyways.

To the dealer you will go for extensive pinpoint tests, could be wiring, pcm, throttle body or any combination there of. Should be under warranty so it's just a matter of driving a loaner until it's fixed if they can't get to it right away or need to order parts.
