Hey guys we are incorporating some updates to our new skid plate systems, most notably for all you Ecoboost owners! Our new updates will allow you to replace the fiber board transmission covers that are so prone to falling off, with our new and improved transmission skid plate that is designed for complete bolt on compatibility on the Ecoboost. This design will tie in perfectly even when re-using the OEM front and t-case plates, and will complete your truck with true coverage and protection!

Available starting late December so stay tuned!

I would not spend the money on those parts...

I left mine on so that water does not splash onto the turbos.

You've got the Ecoboost, so your plate has to go under the intercooler. The plate shown on the website is on a 5.0L.

Hey, just wanted to let you know we recently updated these specifically with the ecoboost in mind and made our transmission plate a direct bolt on addition allowing you to replace the fiber cover. Transmission will now tie in perfectly with the oem front plate and t-case plate, or of course can be combined with our other products.

haven't changed my oil yet but how easy is the access with these plates installed? seems changing the oil on this model is a PITA.

I removed the fiber cover the first time I changed the oil. I left the metal plate on since it really doesn't get in the way of anything.

This is the 3rd winter with mine. Couldn't make it. Two screw/clips broke off. It was dragging on the ground. Took it off and now it's in the bed of my truck. Not sure I'm going to do anything about it.

Snow somehow gets up in it. It packs and gets heavy. Plus anytime I would change my oil I had to use a pliers to get them off. Thumb screw my ***.
