Default Oil filter relocate on ecoboost?

Has anyone done this yet? I did a oil change yesterday and made a mess. I tried the bag trick before and it helped a little but not enough.

Unscrew the filter about half way off and let it sit like that for a couple of minutes before taking it all the way of. This will allow the oil to run out of the engine into the factory drip tray. The filter can then be taken off with little mess at all.

Not a huge fan either, but it's better than the oil running all over the front suspension. Same type of tray is on two other vehicles we own..non Ford

Something that allows the filter to hang vertically next to the engine on the passenger side would be nice!

Found this but haven't had time to wade through it all. http://www.jegs.com/c/Oil-System_Oil...10467/10002/-1

I'd never put one on an EB still under warranty cause Ford will deny any claim but I'm sure a resourceful person could fab something up that would work.

Drive up on a ramp to change the oil and it will all run down the back funnel of the tray without making a big mess. A quick burst of brake clean gets rid of the residue.
