I believe its $485 for the X3 with 2 free tunes (shipped and includes tax). One tune is $150 but it is another $100 if he does not have your "box code." For example, mine is TLX5.

Thanks Lanmorgan, I would probably just want a 91 performance/daily driver. Btw i appreciate all the work your doing with the reviews with all the various tuners out there! Helps me out a lot!

No prob man - It has been an interesting ride trying to find the best tune / tuner. I have had to do the trial/error method with tuners and it has taken a lot of my time so if I can help anyone go straight to the best and bypass all the BS with a simple post... then that will make me a happy camper.

I first called Shawn after SCT had closed for the day and he needed the software from them for my "box code." Had my tune in my inbox the next day after SCT opened and he was able to get what he needed from them to write my tune.
1/4 times would be awesome.

we also have great quality 93 octane fuel here in texas (near all the major petroleum plants) that should be the only difference. that is all i run in my tank $3.69 per gallon(chevron/shell) 93 octane fuel is average here.

That only means Shawn has a lot more room to work and can add power over my 91 cali tune for sure
