No more Fords for me

I feel the need to chime in here. I took my F150 for 3 problems (transmission shifting and SYNC issues) and had it back in 2 days. My wife's 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee was at the dealer for 2 months for a defective driveshaft. And it took 2 service advisors, the service manager, and the regional manager to get it right in 2 months because initially it was going to be 3 months! For a damn driveshaft, really?! Anyway, I feel that it depends on the dealer you deal with. Just my $.02...

Go that way if you wish. Even the customer service folks here have made it very clear that Ford has no control over the dealers and they are free to treat you however they like with no reprisal from Ford.........[/QUOTE]
And yet we get the dealers association filing lawsuits against Tesla because we "need" dealers to protect us from the manufacturers.....
Dealers SUCK.

I think dealer plays a huge role. I've owned a number of GM trucks and service has been awesome, however the dealers in my area are huge and have some pull I believe. Ford hasn't been awful, but certainly more difficult to deal with and take action.

lol at you guys complaining about ford customer service when they obviously pay a CS rep to search forums for a living and is posting in this thread trying to help.
I've been on quite a few other forums for my cars/trucks and have never seen a company that does this.
